Do I have to order prints through you?
Not at all, however, we wouldn't mind printing on your behalf via our vendor. Prints are virtually limitless and could include: canvases, framed prints, standout prints, vinyl, foam board and much more.
Do you provide all images taken?
Yes and no. It depends firstly on the type of shoot. We eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery and only deliver the best ones. However, depending on the type of shoot, special provisions can be made to deliver "ALL" images taken.
Do you edit all the images you deliver?
Yes and no. This depends on the type of shoot, also, all images may be edited, but not necessarily retouched. The images we deliver are edited with our unique style. This involves colour correction, exposure adjustment, selective black and white processing, clarity adjustments, sharpening and other corrections. In the case that it's a wedding, all images are typically edited as this means that you won't have pictures that are too dark, have strange skin tones or other common photography flaws.
When will my photos by ready?
For standard photography sessions, 1-3 weeks.
For weddings, 3-8 weeks.
This timeframe allows us to edit your photos to the finest detail.
What is a retouched image?
Retouching is an intensive form of editing otherwise called advanced post-production. This includes touch-ups such as removal of blemishes, removal of bags under eyes, removal of fly-away hairs, removing objects from the scene, changing the size and shape of body parts or other objects in the scene, fixing clothing, fixing makeup, smoothening, evening skin tone, contouring and other custom work.
Do you provide videography services?
While it's not heavily highlighted or mentioned, videography services are an extension of what we do. We work alongside several highly skilled and talented individuals and we'd be happy to provide some amazing referrals upon booking.
Do you provide the RAW files?
Typically, we do not provide RAW (unprocessed) files from our shoots because we believe in delivering a finished product. In fact, we’re often shooting with the end product in mind. However, on occasion, we may provide RAW images along with our edited images for an additional fee, with and without restrictions.
How far in advance should we book?
Considering how quickly our schedules fill up, I would say the sooner the better. Always remember, never forget, ONLY a deposit secures and confirms a booking. For portrait sessions, typically a minimum of 1-3 months in advance and for weddings, 6-12 months in advance. Nevertheless, we may be able to squeeze in a last minute booking (no promises).
Do you pose your clients?
Yes! We try our best to make sure that we do not leave you feeling awkward. We always advocate for practicing your poses prior to the photo session but just incase you didn't, we have you covered. As a professional, it is our job to ensure you look as flattering as possible. You will be guided throughout the entire session to ensure the best possible photos are captured.
